DATE: Georgian, c.1800

Stunning and scarce Georgian giardinetti (or flower basket) ring dating from the early 19th century, circa 1800. The "basket" is set with a gorgeous pinky-red ruby, and the flowers are beautifully rendered in silver and set with rose cut diamonds. The 15k gold band meets the head with elegant split shoulders, and it's survived the past ~220 years in great shape.
